Announcement Time

Alright, alright. 

It's time that I make a MAJOR announcement.

An exciting announcement at that!

It's like: 

Racing outside to pee exciting!

 It's like:

 Spending a bright, sunny summer day at the beach 

with no cares in  world exciting!

It's like:

 Little kid at a birthday party exciting!

It's like:

 Seeing that newlywed bling on your finger 

for the first time exciting!

 

That's right people my announcement is all those sorts of excitings.

Peeing, beachy, birthday party, newlywed kinds of excitement! 

Aaaannnnnddddddddddd the announcement is....

I've got the decorate for Christmas itch! 

Christmas is still 42 days away and I've got the "dig out the tinsel, bake the gingerbread, string the light, snow on the ground, sing the carols" itch to decorate. I spent most of my day off yesterday Pinteresting {and yes, that is a word} and I found so many cute, wonderful things for Christmas that I just feel like I can not wait one more minute to do them all! 

Theses are a few of my obsessions:

 

I want lights-a-twinkeling

I want carols-a-playing

I want treats-a-baking

I want trees-a-glimmering

I want family-a-visiting

I want shiny balls all ova the house!  

Hubs told me "I forbid you from getting any of the Christmas decorations out yet! It's not even Thanksgiving and then you'll leave them up half of January! By Christmas time we'll be sick of them!"

Ahh hold up hubs.

First off: Thanksgiving is groovy and all & we all know I'm thankful for like...everything. But decorating for Thanksgiving? Corn and turkeys?

Uh notsoglam. Decorating for Christmas is FAR more wonderful!

Second: I will leave the Christmas decorations up ALL of January and probably take them down just in time to put up the Valentine's stuff. Check yoself before ya wreck yoself there hubs. 

Third: Any human with a heart could not/would not ever get sick of Christmas decorations. Seriously, it's not called the "Most wonderful time of the year" for nothing ya know! #justcallhimscrooge

And that my friends, is my huge announcement :) 

Now I'm off to an all day class for work...while I dream of

rocking around the Christmas tree of course.
