Soaking In Summer

It's full blown summer here in Wisco. Like heat index over 100* summer. It seems strange to me that we're looking upon the beginning of July already. July.

Like where has the year gone? The winter seemed to drag & last forever. And now, here we are over half way through the year. Time certainly is a frustrating thing isn't it?

With any regard, we are loving the time spent together on the weekends and evenings after work and we have been b.u.s.y, BUSY lately! Trips to the zoo, children's museum, circus, farmer's markets, strawberry patches & more...we've been making loads of memories in the past few weeks. It's been nice to see the extra smiles and new found excitement on the boys faces. And each evening, when I'm beat from all the fun I spend some time admiring the lovely sunsets. It seems they've been almost nightly lately and I certainly am soaking them all in! Here's one of the most recent...
Not shabby huh? I keep reminding myself that views like this make the ever flying from my bank account mortgage worth it...especially when you've hit the wonderful "we've lived here long enough for everything to fall apart" time. Oh, the joys.
