Here's my story.
Born and raised in small town Wisco I've settled myself onto a few acres just mere minutes from my childhood home. I was always certain that I'd be living life elsewhere and despite several attempts at that, here we are.
As a child I'd dreamed of being a teacher but I quickly learned that a room full of screaming children wasn't for me and became a nurse instead. Over the years I've worked in a variety of areas including Cardiac, Medical/Surgical, Geriatrics, Hospice, Post Acute Rehab, Mental Health and Substance Abuse and most recently Psychiatric Leadership. It didn't take me long in my Nursing career to find out that healthcare isn't what it's cracked up to be and that perhaps there was better, safer alternatives. Enter my love of all things crunky and holistic.
I started dabbling with Essential Oils in December of 2014 as a "fun" outlet of sorts. What I didn't anticipate was the life changing success I'd find with them and the amazing people that I'd meet along the way! These days we roll, huff, dab, drip, drop and slather. My kiddos know what they need and when and I love knowing that their little bodies are as pure as I can get them.
Between single mommin' three boys, working outside the home full time and everything else that life brings our way life is busy and life is full.
Full of fart jokes. Full of dinosaurs and super heros. Full of trucks, tractors and before bed wrestle sessions. It's full of sleepless nights, cups of coffee constantly reheated & laundry baskets piled miles high. Many days I dub myself the conductor of the "hot mess express" with my hair piled high in an un-brushed bun. But all craziness aside...it's full of love. So much love. And for that, I am grateful.
